These editions of NutriBase provide many of the high-end features found in NutriBase Clinical, Clinical SE, and Network editions of NutriBase. However, with this power comes a more sophisticated user interface that involves repositioning and resizing windows and the ability to move from window-to-window as you work. These editions come with a User's Manual that covers 160+ "How to" topics. If you are a power use, or a user who takes nutrition and fitness very seriously, one of these consumer editions may be for you. | ||
| Are recipes and other information transferrable across the various editions of NutriBase? Data is transferrable across all editions of NutriBase except for NutriBase EZ. This is due, in part, to the fact that the EZ edition doesn't support all the data structures (meals, meal plans, etc.) supported by the higher editions (NutriBase Junior and above). All these higher editions versions are compatible with each other (that is, you can exchange recipes, meals, meal plans, client information, etc. amongst these versions (NutriBase Junior, Personal, Personal Plus, Clinical, and Network Editions). | ||

| Can I download NutriBase software through my dial-up modem? NutriBase EZ, maybe. The EZ Edition file size is about 10 Mbytes. The difficulty of downloading a file from the Web has to do with its size. The larger the file, the longer it takes to download. And the longer it takes to download, the more undesirable things that can happen. The NutriBase EZ Edition is about 10 Mbytes and can be downloaded in a reasonable amount of time (normally under 45 minutes). The other editions of NutriBase, however are all around 30 Mbytes in size. If you are experienced, tenacious, and indefatigable, you might attempt to download these larger files. But for most users, we recommend springing the extra ten bucks to get the CD. We'll ship it to you free. | ||
| I have high-speed Internet access. How long will it take to download NutriBase? You can download NutriBase EZ in a minute or two. The other versions, being about 30 Mbytes each, may take as long as three to five minutes. |
