v.7.05, January 26, 2007. This version adds a color-coded background color (with legend) to identify the source of the data that is presented (USDA, Canadian Nutrient Files, Brand Name, etc.). We also added an Abbreviation Button to nutrient data displays so you can quickly determine the meaning of any abbreviations used in the nutrient database.

v.7.0, November 24, 2006. This new version features an updated database that includes the latest USDA data and latest Canadian Nutrient Files.

If you are using the XP look, you will notice an improvement in the way NB7 looks.

We support the newly revised military AR600-9 weight and body fat standards. This is important if you are working to comply with the military regulations governing body fat content.

Color-Code Backgrounds. To facilitate instant recognition of sources for data displayed in the spreadsheet view, the background color for USDA and CNF data is white. The background color for Brand Name foods is light gray. (NutriBase is the only high-end nutrition software package that can display the data for more than one food item at a time, so this feature is irrelevant to competing products.)

We added support for the Mifflin St. Jeor formula and the EER formulas as options for calculating new user calorie requirements.

NB7 now supports optional password protection. You can require a password to start NutriBase.

With this version you can specify any backup location. This allows you to store your backups anywhere you wish.

Copy a recipe as a Favorite. This feature allows you to transfer your recipes to your Palm PDA as NutriBase Favorites.

v.6.04, September 6, 2005 This version of NutriBase EZ Edition features newly updated 40-30-30 "Zone" Meal Plans. Also fixed a bug that caused NBEZ reports to indicate incorrect PCF ratios under certain rare conditions.

v.6.03, August 4, 2005. This is the first version (and possibly the only software on the market) to support body fat calculations based on the US Army's AR600-9 Body Fat calculation methods. This version also includes the AR600-9 document and the Army acceptable weight and body fat charts.

v.6.02, July 12, 2005. We added a Copy option that allows users to copy a food log to another day.

We added Meal Plan reports that will generate recipe listings for users and provide detail regarding a Meal Plan day's Food Log.

Also added an Abbreviation Button to display commonly used database abbreviations and enhanced the Share Button (which allows users to share their Favorites) to allow easy sharing all or many of the Favorites (rather than having to pick each Favorite one at a time).

v.6.0, May 3, 2005. This new version features an updated database that includes USDA SR data and latest Canadian Nutrient Files.

With this release, NutriBase will automatically select the appropriate DRI (Dietary Reference Intake) for you based on your age and gender. (Previous versions use the outdated RDA's.) AS in previous editions, you have full control over all your nutrient goals - you may edit the DRI's as needed.

With this release, users can now select which nutrients they want to have displayed in their search results. Although you may limit the number of nutrients displayed, NutriBase always records all nutrient data for recipes and food records.
